Ideally our back yard is the closest place in our homes we find close to nature, and enjoying long hours at this part of the house should never be uncomfortable. It does not matter what someone tells you, when it rains you will have to take your cushions indoors, remember Sunbrella fabric is water repellent and not water resistant; that means it will resist water going though it for 20 or so seconds. There is no fabric which can stop water to go through it, unless it is made of plastic; and believe me you do not want to sit on those plastic cushions.
